Soccer versus Music

Well, our soccer team has managed to freeze our rehearsals for one week. It is incredible. Sometimes something like soccer can freeze a whole country.
Our soccer team has only made it to the quarter finals once in history, and they lose time and time again. Not one trophy, nothing, yet it handles millions of dollars a year, and gets sponsoring from everyone.
On the other hand we have the music team of our country. Two grammys in the last 2 years, numerous well renowed "players", and yet, we can never seem to get the support you would expect from the media or masses. Last international concert, our local artist, our representative if you will, was boo-ed and sent offstage under a rain of coins and plastic bottles.
I sometimes wonder, what is needed to get the full support of people here in Costa Rica. Effort, well, musicians give it lots of effort. Practice, im sure we practice more than those soccer players and would even more, if we were paid there ridiculous high salaries.
